expected to be born in early February. More info under "Puppies".

Some updates on just about every page. The most important news must
be that Mella will have her first litter next spring. More info will be
coming soon. 6.7.2007
On June 20th 00:57 our little son was born. Everything is going
smoothly and the dogs are ok about having a little "brother". Supi has
taken our baby boy as if would be his duty to look after him and protect
him. :) 6.5.2007
Mella is in heat for the second time in her life. First season was
almost exactly 9 months ago. Supi will leave next week to stay with his
breeder and will have lots of fun playing with his sister, mother and aunt
Tiltu. Let's hope the girls can stand Supi, he is a true gigolo!
Supi's eyes are fine and the vet who operated Supi was very pleased to see
how well he has healed. We'll have next control in August and then we'll
decide whether or not the other eye needs surgery.
23.4.2007
We have moved and finally our internet connection is working. Supi
went through eye-surgery in the end of February and has fully recoverd. He
still needs to be medicated once a day and the medication (cortisone eye
drops) will continue for several months. Mimosa is also on medication
right now, she has a nasty ear infection in her right ear. Mella is the
only one who is not sick at the moment but I bet she will go on heat
within a month... It's 8 months now since her first heat so I'm curiously
waiting whether she'll be like her mother and have her cycle every 8,5
month.
It seems that I haven't remembered to mention about our biggest news! I'm
pregnant and due 18th of June so there will be no puppy plans this year.
If everything goes well and Mella stays healthy, she will probably be
mated in spring 2008. But we'll see what happens, at the moment I'm
totally focused on my own (huge!) belly. :) 7.2.2007
I received the most awful phone call on December 19th. Tramp had died
after escaping from a fenced yard and running into the horses' paddock.
There was nothing we could do... :( Tramp is missed deeply by all of us
and his memory will stay in our hearts for the rest of our lives.
2006 11.11.2006
I just returned from Germany a few days ago with a wonderful little puppy
called Tramp! He is a sweetheart and at first it
seemed that he will be really calm and cool. Now after really settling
down, he has shown the little rascal side of him! Nevertheless, he will
brake your heart with his sweet little puppy eyes! 14.9.2006
Bad news. Supi has cataract in both eyes, he was diagnosed today. HC
seems to be proceeding in his right eye, so we'll go back for a check-up
after six months. Then we'll decide whether or not he'll need surgery.
The only good thing in this situation is that Supi hasn't sired any
litters. Oh, and Mella's eyes and knees were all clean.
14.8.2006
Mella is in heat, finally! At the respectable age of one year two
weeks, Mella decided to start her first heat on Friday. I came home from
work to discover blood on the floor. I've only waited for about 4 months
for this to happen. Mimosa has been sterilized for so long that I've
almost totally forgotten what to do with a bitch in heat. Supi is going
away from home for awhile, of course.
We survived yet another exhausting weekend. Now it was our own agility
competition. Mimosa has had bad luck in our own competitions before and
this weekend wasn't an exception. She started to limp her left front leg
just before we were supposed to start. She's fine now, thanks to massage
and pain killers.
Supi was as fast and feisty as always. On Saturday we managed to get one
result, finishing fourth with 13,73 faults. All the rest we failed. Now we
just have to practice more to be ready for our next competition on
September 2nd.
6.8.2006
Finally SawoShow weekend is over! Supi was Good, Very Good and
Acceptable, Mella was Good both times and Mimosa was Excellent and was
placed in her class! This pretty well sums up dogshows...
Agility has been so much fun. Supi and Mimosa have been to official
competitions now, both have one result and two failed. Next weekend we'll
have competition here "at home". I've also started on training Mella for
agility and she totally loves it!
I almost forgot. Mella turned one year last week and she went to the vet
to get her shots. The vet checked her bite (correct) and her teeth. She's
missing 3x P1 (the smallest one of premolars) and one M3 (the smallest one
of molars, the very last tooth). 17.6.2006
Supi and Mella at a group show. Supi was Excellent for the first time.
He was also second best male and got a res-cert. Mella was Good. I'm proud
of both of them!
Next dogshows will be in August and meanwhile we'll concentrate on
agility. Mimosa and Supi will go to their first official competitions at
AgiRotu which is a big annual agility happening. It will be lots of fun,
just like last year and the year before that. After AgiRotu we'll go to a
two-day competition. Can't hardly wait untill July! 23.4.2006
Long time since last update. New pictures of all the dogs (Mimosa's and
Supi's in their own webpages) and I've also added quite a few links also.
Snow is slowly melting so soon we'll start to train tracking and agility.
I've planned to go to dog shows with Mella and Supi, the first for this
summer beeing a group show in June. 3.2.2006
I finally got around to update Mella's pictures which were taken
during Christmas holidays. Essi is showing her and Milla took pictures
(kennel
Tallihiiren). Mella's bite is correct now, thank goodness! Both Mimosa
and Supi are well, our agility practices have started and both of them
enjoy it. I'm now training obedience with Supi on my own and I'm hoping on
going to a competition this spring... But we'll see about that! 16.1.2006
We've now settled in. Moving went fine, the dogs felt right at home as
soon as they could go sleep on our couch. All the new sounds coming from
the stairway are keeping the dogs alert as well as our couch beeing now
next to the window. I hope they won't be on guard much longer... Now I
just have to get up and start unpacking everything, I hate living with all
these cardboard boxes! 10.1.2006
Mella's information can now be found from Finnish Kennel Club's database.
There isn't much information yet but hopefully it will be filled with
results from different kinds of tests one day. :)
We're moving to a smaller apartment only about 5 km from where we now
live. I hope that moving won't be to stressful for the dogs (nor for me!).
I'll keep all of you posted on how it all went.
2.1.2006
Happy New Year! We spent our New Year's Eve at home watching movies
because Mimosa is scared of fire crackers. This year I gave her Serene-UM
which is a food suppliment that increases dogs own serotonine production.
Mimosa was quite fine up untill somebody was next to our living room
window firing "screaming" fireworks. Mimosa started to shake and pant in
panic. Mella and Supi didn't react at all, they only barked a couple of
times (people were running in stairs making noise).
29.12.2005
Mella got her papers from Finnish Kennel Club and is now officially
registered in Finland. Yesterday Mella went to see a vet to get her milk
fangs taken out. Her lower fangs are growing next to milk fangs and will
need to be manually manipulated in order to make her bite correct. 23.11.2005
Mimosa and Supi had their eyes examined, Mimosa was as healthy as
before. Supi unfortunately has PHTVL/PHPV grade 2 in his right eye but his
knees were healthy (0/0). 16.11.2005
New photos of Mella, who is now 16 weeks old. I've also finally made new
pages for all of the dogs for all you not speakin Finnish can still know
some facts about our dogs. 17.10.2005
Mella (Anbis
Cassella-Caramella) is finally home! Her own page (in English) will be
coming soon, meanwhile you can enjoy the pictures and pedigree from
Finnish version. 25.3.2005
English pages opened. In case of any malfunction. please contact me by
